Alan. You were never judgemental and I really appreciated that. Enjoying our chats at various times, even the ones at the dining table before your eyes closed midsentance and Dot shouting at you to wake up. It was a privilege to have had you in part of my life.
With love from Ken, Denise and family x
Alan was always really good company. I remember Dad (Jim) and Alan chatting and joking at family gatherings; usually gossiping about goings-on at the office. In the to-and-fro of their conversation, I loved the way Alan managed to convey a strong moral sense of right and wrong but in a clever, fun, humorous and yet subtle manner.
